Mihkel Plaas is the head of the ENT department at Tartu University and Tartu University Hospital. He is an ENT consultant with a special interest in rhinology. He conducts basic and clinical research on chronic rhinosinusitis and it's immunological aspects. He is a graduate of Tartu University and completed his specialist training in otolaryngology in 2017. He has since further developed his skills through international conferences, courses and observerships. His everyday practice primarily focused on functional nose diseases, chronic rhinosinusitis and endoscopis sinus surgery.
